A stormy sea and a balmy evening in my garden.
The wonderful world of photography allows you to take a picture whether the sun is shining or it is raining cats and dogs.

Unusually very low pressure for this time of year brought about gale force winds, a very overcast sky and rain. Luckily the rain abated for our time at Godrevy; only four of us present, compared to fourteen last Thursday at Porth Nanven when the sun shone and there was not a cloud in the sky. It is not everyone’s cup of tea but I love taking pictures in very overcast weather.
The weather is really crazy these days; great one day, awful the next. Just a few days ago I was taking macro shots of flowers in my garden. It had been a glorious day and just before the sun went down I decided to take a few photos. Not a hint of wind, just lots of little gnats feeding on my head! I like to take flower photos at this time of day; the soft light, the flower in shade with the weak sun in the background always makes for a pleasant picture.
