Dartmoor

Saturday 26th January 2013

This Windy Post, or Windy Cross as it is also known was probably a marker for a track  across the moor linking the abbeys of Tavistock and Buckfast.   It is believed this cross replaces a previous one from the 15th century and dates from the 1600s.
